These are two talented individuals (pun intended), who don’t keep fans waiting long for their next huge track. Cooly passing the million streams mark on their last single ‘Alive’, Ray and Jim aka Sick Individuals immediately returned to hard work in the studio dropping another hefty track: ‘Focus’.
Alive was a departure from their usual clubby, progressive and electro, groove based style. With this latest release, the duo appear to be back to their roots, sound-wise. Their usual platform of Revealed Recordings is the only place worthy of dropping EDM gold, with ‘Focus’ being premiered on Hardwell On Air 310.
Analogue synths and crafted percussion provide a typical Sick Individuals groovy first drop. A break down featuring vocals ‘raise your hands up in the air / focus’ blended around saw synths building to a more energetic melodious second drop set the tone for this groovy club track.
