Hardwell fans will be disappointed by his confirmation via Facebook that he will not play Tomorrowland this year.
Robbert van de Corput, 29, better known as Hardwell, was a headline act and fan favourite until his absence from the Belgian festival last summer. This seemed to follow Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike’s topping of the Dutchman as the DJ Mag No.1 DJ 2015. Alleged voting tactics via iPads from Tomorrowland’s management company to influence the votes caused a rift between Hardwell and the festivals management. Robbert took to social media to express his disdain:
Confirmation of Hardwell missing this years festival as well came from his Facebook Messenger bot:
EDM fans will have plenty of other high quality acts to enjoy at this years two-weekend long Tomorrowland, which sold out almost instanteously. Current DJ Mag No.1 Martin Garrix, Afrojack, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Tiësto, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, Bassjackers, Nicky Romero and Snake to name a but a few, will be out in full force.
Sadly, the absence of Hardwell means there will be no Revealed stage at the festival either.
